iEarthquake Lite app good for
This iEarthquake app is great except they changed something to the alert format which is not user friendly anymore. Otherwise, info is fast and accurate.
Excellent source of timely earthquake info & drill-down info as required. Thx!
i quite like this little app, good info with a friendly user interface...great for us weather nerds!
This is an interesting apps. Very informative and easy to use. I was totally unaware how many earthquakes there are each and every day. Fascinating information.
The lite version of this app is very good, however when I paid for the push feature, it did not work. Support got involved for a while, but it still doesnt work. The app is pretty good, so I do recommend the lite version. I just hope support sorts out the push feature.
-------------- review updated ---------
Support had told me they were working on the Push Notification, and the latest update has fixed it.
I have moved the rating to 5 stars because of developer support.
Thank you support, well done.
Reports faster than the online public USGS website & always accurate. I travel a considerable amount; SE Asia mostly to enjoy the beautiful surf, sand, sun, and beautiful waters on many of the small islands. That being said, I have a tendency to seek the highest point on any given island or coastal area and with this APP handy I can have peace of mind, as I can check it periodically to be in the know if there (God forbid) if theres an offshore quake in any given area... especially mine.
Some bad moments
Seems OK but could not find a map view. Only a list, then show a quake location. All alerts costs something. I deleted it as there are better ones with maps view as a start.
It locks up on switching between earthquake origins, and sometimes wont start. This is all on iOS 6.0.1. Maybe related to iOS 6 problems?
However, application has good potential, if bugs are ironed out.
I loved this app, live in Indonesia with its many earthquakes and volcanoes. Since the last update, I cannot get it to turn on. What should I do? Please fix.
So I hear about a 3 day flood in New Zealand that killed and displaced zero yet this app cannot advise me that an ongoing flood in the next province that has killed 3, displaced over 100,000 and closed many roads is in progress even after 4 days. Not a great amount of warning, eh!!!!!
Living on the Island of Hawaii, this App. Keeps me informed on what could happen in the Pacific. From North, South, East and West. Also right under me in Kau.
This ap gives you the most reliable updates and information possible and is a great resource for gauging specific earthquake contains around the world!
